Effective August 2008, polymer producer Ticona will be extending its cooperation with Resinex to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland and the UK. As an international distributor of plastics, rubber and chemical raw materials formany years, Resinex offers sales and logistics competence in the regions and the relevant polymer, machine and processing know-how.

"In further developing and expanding this market, we can now draw on Ticona's comprehensive product portfolio in the Benelux countries, Ireland and the UK as well," commented Kees Vissers, Commercial Director Europe of the Resinex Group, Belgium.The polymer producer offers a choice of nine high-performance plastics with over 400 modified grades.

As part of the reorganization of its sales and distribution concept, Ticona decided to cooperate with Resinex in central and eastern Europe at the beginning of 2007. "The success of this cooperation has encouraged us to extend our business partnership to other countries in which Resinex is well established," explained Gunther Reitzel, Sales & Distribution Manager at Ticona. Among the key deciding factors for the two partners were the reliable, fast delivery of materials by Ticona and the direct, personal, on-the-spot advice given to customers by Resinex. "This cooperation offers clear competitive advantages for both parties - to the ultimate benefit of our mutual customers," concluded Reitzel.
